The World Beat Groove Project brings their original sound of World Beat, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Latin and R&B with a fusion of African, Brazilian and Cuban sounds that come to life in an artful format. Set It Off! is our six piece full band with guitar, bass, drum kit, latin percussion, sax and keys and is a celebration of Funk, R&B, Soul and Latin Rock featuring members of Long Island's most popular bands (Black & Blue, Dead Ahead Band, Milagro-Santana Tribute, Soul Purpose, Tidal Groove, Vagabond Blues and World Beat Groove). Our interpretation of the music of James Brown, Sly & The Family Stone, Stevie Wonder, War, Neville Brothers, Santana and many others globally known artists will have you up on your feet dancing and making the funky face! Expect to party hearty and get your Funk on with a capital F whenever Set It Off! hits the stage. Milagro-Santana Tribute will follow and close the night with a great dance/jam session.

Participating agencies provide services in a variety of areas including literacy, healthcare, education, legal services, social services, housing, the naturalization process, and community advocacy. A special performance and an opportunity to win a raffle prize will be offered.
